Merchandise & Activity Books
The first activity book I helped create was part of a COVID care package program for the Northwestern student body. As campus life was extremely limited during the early days of COVID, our team brainstormed creative ways to bring joy to students quarantined in dorms and off-campus housing. We arrived at a book filled with Northwestern-themed word searches, coloring pages, and Mad Libs. We received a ton of great feedback from students and faculty who received these books, so we decided to make more!
SOA Activity Book 1
As the Northwestern student body wrapped up classes before summer break, our team worked on something that could keep the spirit of campus life alive, even after the students left. We packed this book full of fun campus-themed activities that would allow students to take a piece of Northwestern with them wherever they went over the summer, whether that be their hometowns, summer internships, or traveling across the world.
SOA Activity Book 2
When the third SOA activity book was distributed during the finals week of winter quarter, it served a double purpose: To give students a piece of campus that they could take with them during the winter recess, and to provide them with fun activities that would help them relieve stress during the stressful period of finals week. Between taking tests and writing essays, students could use the Winter Activity book to take their mind off of school for a little while. This activity book included classics like word searches and crosswords, as well as a new “Where’s Waldo” themed activity with Willie the Wildcat hiding somewhere in the snow.
SOA Activity Book 3
I created this water bottle as a prize for the winners of the SOA trivia contest, a weekly event on Instagram stories where our followers would answer Northwestern-themed trivia questions for prizes. Prizes were always awarded to the first follower who swiped up and answered the posted question, which helped to bring new followers to our socials and made sure existing followers always viewed our stories.
